The desire to paint interior spaces and the investigation of textiles, pattern, finishes and objects continues to inspire my work. Using a neutral palette of natural paint and ebellishments of 24-carat gold leaf, this painting invites the viewer into the space with the view beyond and the composition is an elegant tall 160cm expanse of calm brushstrokes.
