Description
The second work out of the “Three inner states” series. This is also my daughter’s portrait. She was crossing the road while the wind was wild and strong. She was wearing bright red tights with black dress and black jacket. Her body was resisting the wind, her face was showing how stubborn and determined she is. Her legs in those red tights on the grey gloomy day were the essence of resistance. That’s why I’ve made it a central subject of a second work out of the series, to emphasize the resistance, make it bigger than the canvas frame. It’s like she’s trying to run away from the borders of the circumstances
