The bathing pond at Hampstead is deep and opaque, the water slips over the skin and the pond looks like a mirror some days, a slick others, but always beautiful.

The trees hug the landscape adding dense green hues to the water surface - the light liquid.
 
I love sea swimming and pond swimming, in fact any wild swimming and have been doing it for a long time, its always magical.
 
The frame is a pale taupe with a slight hint of undergilding.
